Jewelry Making with Andrea Alton
Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 1-2:30p.m.
Many people who have tried making their own jewelry have problems with some of the basics. These problems discourage us and the tools bought with such hope are set aside to clutter up our closets. If this applies to you... or even if it doesn't, grab up those tools and join us. If you don’t have tools, don’t worry, we will have a few sets to share.
The focus of this class is on two jewelry projects chosen specifically to give practice with several simple, yet essential, jewelry techniques. These include jump rings, why we prefer beading on wire, practice with beading on wire, and how to properly crimp a bead. Each participant will make a bracelet and a necklace. Class Limit - 25. Call 708-479-9663 to register. Teen/Adult Program.
