HOMEWORK HELPER

Connects students in grades K-12, College Intro, and adult learners with live tutors for one-to-one tutoring sessions.
In addition to specific homework problems in math, science, English, and social studies, tutors help students with: Test preparation, including Illinois state standardized testing, Learning skills in all subjects, including conducting research, creating bibliographies, math skills, science lab skills, term paper structure, grammar and language usage, etc.

"Songs of World War II" Outdoor Concert

Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 1:00 P.M at Mokena Community Public Library District
David Molinari, Singer, Songwriter, and Musician along with accompanist JoAnne Henry, will perform "Songs of World War II" at an outdoor concert alongside the "Behind Barbed Wire" Bus Exhibit.

Fire Truck Saftey Display
4/2/2008
The Mokena Community Public Library District and the Mokena Fire Protection District have come together in a joint venture. A “Fire Truck Safety Display” was designed, built and equipped by firefighters working with community volunteers and library staff. It is a replica Fire Truck equipped with book shelves displaying print materials, informational flyers and a television/VCR/DVD to display informational tapes focusing on fire safety.
