News release for 2013 election
The Mokena Community Public Library District wishes to announce that the Library will have nominating petitions available on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 for persons who wish to run in the April 9, 2013 Consolidated General Election.
The following will be nominated for election: two Library Trustees (six year terms) and one Library Trustee (four year term).
Nominating petitions and all necessary forms, including signature requirements, will be available at the Mokena Community Public Library District, 11327 West 195th Street, Mokena on Tuesday, September 25, 2012.
The first day to file a petition is Monday, December 17, 2012. The last day is Monday, December 24, 2012 until 5 pm. Petitions received by mail at the Mokena Community Public Library District before Monday, December 17th will be returned.
