Amnesty in November
Fines will be waived on all overdue Mokena Community Public Library District items returned to the library during the month of November with a donation for our troops.
The library is collecting small items to be used as stocking stuffers. The donations will be sent to the troops by "Operation Care Package".
Suggested stocking stuffers:
Protein Bars * Batteries * Jerky
Coffee, Ground, any size singles to large cans or bags
Pre-sweetened Powdered Kool-aid, Gatorade, Hot Chocolate, Hot Cider Packets
Ziploc Bags ~ Quart ~ Sandwich ~ Snack ~ Gallon
Jerky, Slim Jims, Summer Sausage, Beef Sticks
Canned Fruit, Dried Fruit, Fruit Snacks
Canned Hearty Soup, Ravioli, Stew, Cup A Soup, Top Ramon, Dinty Moore
Trail Mix, Nuts, Sunflower Seeds, Pre-Packaged Cookies
Instant Oatmeal, Boxed Cereal, Easy Mac & Cheese, Microwave Popcorn
Canned Tuna, Chicken
Peanut Butter / Jelly , Small Boxes of Crackers
Cigars & Chew
Multi-Vitamins, Tylenol, Foot Powder, Anti-fungal Cream
No glass or expired items please.
